The
purpose of this committee is to introduce a series of initiatives aimed at both
Secondary school students and staff within the HWCDSB, which would promote a pro
-life culture within
our school system and encourage our students to Live
the Life
message found in the Gospels. These initiatives will focus most
specifically on educating our students about the issues around the beginning and
end of life,
in particular those associated with abortion and euthanasia.
The
value and defence of life is
a sign of our times...It is a sign that speaks to the heart of all
people...Because the Gospel of God's love for man, the Gospel of the dignity of
the person and the Gospel of life are
